Azure Backup is a service from Microsoft Azure. With this service, you will be able to back up virtual machine in Azure but also servers On-Premise.

Create a backup vault :
- Click DATA SERVICES, then click RECOVERY SERVICES, BACKUP VAULT, and click QUICK CREATE.
- In NAME, enter a friendly name
- In REGION, select the geographic region for the backup vault. Here West Europe.
When it's done, you will see the new service
To protect virtual machines on Azure, click Discover Virtual Machines. If you never protect virtual machines, you will see the message below :
Click Register to discover your virtual machines. Select items you want to protect
Click Protect
You will find your backup protection here
